As usual, Summer seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye. After our annual August migration to Great Cranberry Island in Maine, Laura and I have been enjoying the many warm Autumn days working in the garden, biking, and hiking with Winnie and Alfie among the foliage. This is a magical time of year in Vermont - made all the sweeter by its temporary nature. WaIking through the forest reminds me of how fortunate I am to spend my days working with beautiful woods on pieces that will last a lifetime.
